How does RexShield Metal stack up against other coatings for preventing rust?
Because it penetrates the metal and forms a protective film on its surface, RexShield metal is an excellent rust prevention coating. The majority of coatings that prevent rust, like paint, just stick to the surface. The deeper covalent bond of RexShield prevents peeling and flaking. By getting into the metal, it makes a stronger, longer-lasting shield. Additionally, it restores the metal’s original luster.
How does RexShield Metal compare to painting to prevent rust on metal?
Paint is a temporary method of preventing rust. It merely resides on the surface of the metal and does not penetrate it. It will lose its bond over time due to paint deterioration and abrasion. The majority of paints are also susceptible to UV light fading. Sunlight and UV breakdown have no effect on RexShield Metal. Due to its deep penetration into metals, it will not peel off or flake.
Will iron rust be prevented by RexShield Metal?
